September 22, 2009 by admin

Imagine the ability to possess 6 packs of well-toned, breathtaking abdominals that would make the other sex drool with envy. This would definitely rate as one of the topmost desires of both sexes today in order to impress the opposite sex. With amazing abs, there is no need to worry about what you wear anymore . Nor is there a need to hide your bulging tummy that has been your Achilles heel for so long.

The desire of many, but having well-toned abs has proved to be the holy grail for many out there today. Take note that this is not just the starters at the gym. This also proves true for seasoned professionals that have admitted that the abs is one of the most difficult spots in the body to tone and maintain.

How do we actually achieve this coveted abs that we all strongly crave for? For one, you must kick out the perception of the existence of quick solutions to getting those abs. No, they do not exist. You are not going to get beautiful, well-toned abs through a quick-step, a week exercise solution. NO. Nor are you going to achieve the abs with all those quick solution pills and tablets out there. Take caution, these pills not only do not work, but they more than often cause unwanted health hazards and side-effects.

What you actually require is a completely safe and effective workout, nutrition and rest plan. Let us start with the workout. Contrary to spending hours in the gym working on crunches, press and pulls and squats, it is advisable to cut short the hours and instead increase the intensity of your workouts. For instance, instead of working on 3 repetitions of 20 sets of crunches with a 30 second break in between, you would do well to increase the intensity. This could be achieved by doing the same 3 repetitions but at 30 sets of crunches with a 20 second break in between. This would encourage the elevation of your heart beat rate, increase your metabolism rate, and eventually the body can burn calories and shape abs faster.

Part two would definitely be your intake of food and calories everyday. You could do all the workouts available out there, but if you do not control your diet, at the end of the day you will not be able to see the results you crave for. Maintain a diet that is rich in fibres and antioxidants such as green vegetables and fruits. Consume more protein and reduce the intake of carbohydrates, this would assist in making you leaner and fitter. Lean meat is preferable compared to red meat here. Also, cut down on the consumption of sugary or carbonated beverages as they pile up the unwanted calories easily.

And finally, get plenty of rest at the end of each day. The body needs to recover after a tiring day of exercise and routine activities, your sleep would be the ideal way for your cells to rebuild and repair themselves. This would also leave you fresher and free of fatigue to tackle the following day. Follow the tips given, and you will find that the 6 packs are not so far away after all.
